Currently, we do not offer any payment plan. All courses are for single/one time purchases only.
At the moment No. You can purchase courses for yourself. However, there are related options available:
- You can purchase courses on behalf of each of your colleagues, team members or small group using their unique email addresses, so you set up each person’s unique account for them, or you can ask them to do it themselves.
- If you are a larger group you can contact our Business Services at biclearn@biginnovationcentre.com with the group details (first and last names, email addresses, and payment details) and they can do it for you.
- Some ambitious companies looking to train their people are requesting their own unique company portal to the Learning Lab which only includes the courses they wish their people to take. For this service, please visit our Business Services webpage (see link in our menubar).
Invoice will be generated automatically when you purchase a course and will be sent to your email.
Our courses are not refundable, so be sure you want the course before purchasing.
Any promotion offers or discounts will be announced in our newsletter or on our website. There are no standard discounts available.
Send an email to biclearn@biginnovationcentre.com describing your issue and the error message you receive. Please also include the course name, date of purchase, and email address you used for your purchase.
Registration
Registration for courses and certifications is all done directly through our online course catalogue.
After you have paid for a course you can use the email you used for payment to access “My Course” content on the Learning Lab website.
You will need to purchase separate personal accounts using separate emails. If you wish to make registration of a group we offer group-registration, please check our business services (see “Business Services” in the menu bar above).
You are provided plentiful days to finalise a short course or programme. If you wish more time than the allocated time you will need to repurchase the course. Once you log in again you can continue from where you left last time.
This could also be a problem with your payment, so you actually did not complete your payment. If the problem persist please email us for support at biclearn@biginnovationcentre.com.

Certification
Check course details to see who the certification body is. Courses provided by Big Innovation Centre as certified by Big Innovation Centre and the UK’s Professional Development Consortium and standardization body for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Each hour allocated for a course equals one Professional Learning (PL) credit, provided the course is certified by the UK’s Professional Development Consortium. Thus, the courses can be used for your professional upskilling.
Once you complete all the elements of a course and pass the elements at a satisfactory level you can download your certificate at the end of the course. Courses are usually passed through quizzes.
Certificates indicate your professional skills which needs periodical updating as knowledge within a field evolve. Your certificate will last for two years after which you can re-certify by taking the course again. Also, if you take other courses, you will keep your existing certificates, as we know that you remain active.
If you do not pass a course you can retake the course at any time until you pass. You can do this within the period you have access to your course and you can also extend your period by purchasing the course again. If you do not pass the course elements you cannot download the certificate, so you fail your certification.

Big Innovation Centre has received Dual Accreditation by the UK Continuing Professional Development (CPD) standardisation body meaning that Big Innovation Centre is an accredited training or excellence and that its courses are accredited.
Yes, the impact of accreditation by the UK Continuing Professional Development (CPD) standardisation body of Big Innovation Centre and its courses means that industry and the public sector can officially use the courses for professional development for its employees.
Each course uses professional experts from academia or industry. Most are not professional educators or teachers, but they provide useful knowledge for your professional upskilling and learning. In order words, with our Learning Lab, you are uniquely placed to learn directly from the movers and shakers in the professional and academic world. Our frontier courses include expert knowledge from elite academics, leaders of science, innovators and entrepreneurs, and top business leaders and those involved in policy formation.
Your learning resources are different for each course, but typically (not always) include online videos of master classes or case examples, booklets, quizzes to self-test your knowledge.
Learners can benefit from self-paced learning at any time and any place, as the course is online and you can access the course, as many days as it is listed on the course website, which provides plenty of time to finish it given your circumstances.
