We (people and professionals) have reevaluated our circumstances and taken better care of ourselves during the course of the Covid-19 pandemic, putting “me” first. As a result, this course on “The Happiness Movement” poses philosophical concerns about what happiness is and explores practical (technological, organisational, lifestyle) strategies for finding happiness in both our personal and professional lives.
Distinguished experts from big tech, executive coaching, the music industry, health and wellness, and academia, from the United States and the United Kingdom, contribute to this course on what happiness means for people, careers, workplaces and lives.
After completing this course, the learner should be able to
- List various approaches to achieving happiness.
- Explore the ways in which using technology, habits and behaviour, or establishing our own values and purposes might be used to achieve some kind of happiness in your career or life.
- Analyze the conditions that must be met for employees to be happy at work, and explain the effects of happiness at work, in particular its advantages.
- Analyse what it means to be happy, how we achieve it, and how to spot when something that would seem to make us happy actually isn’t.
